We’re always innovating to ensure our products are durable, meet the highest quality standards, and match our customers’ unique specifications.
Social responsibility
Our most valuable assets are our people—our customers, our employees, and our suppliers. People are a cornerstone of our mission, as are our community and this planet we call home, which provides the many resources we need to do business. These cornerstones allow us to pursue our mission of providing sustainable products to our customers. As a socially responsible company, we know it’s up to us to make decisions and take real actions to care for our planet.
To save energy and use less electricity, we made our interior lighting more efficient and converted our water chiller to a greener air-cooled system, which has allowed us to stop using freon, a gas that damages the ozone layer. We also installed solar collectors on the outside of our building, significantly reducing our gas consumption. These collectors have small holes that let in air, which heats up when it comes in contact with the aluminum panel inside the collector. The pre-warmed air is then delivered to the factory’s air intake.
To help our community, we support multiple organizations committed to fighting poverty, helping the unhoused, and caring for children with illnesses. We’re especially proud of our efforts to motivate kids to stay in school by participating in FIRST, a robotics program in high schools in the Eastern Townships. The program helps high schoolers learn about robotics and encourages them to pursue higher education.
Markets and sectors
Depending on the product you want to make, your market, and your industry, especially transportation and sports, composites may win out over every other traditional material available.
Transportation
Composites reduce gross vehicle weight, saving fuel for internal combustion vehicles and extending electric vehicle range. Their physical characteristics are also particularly useful in this sector, since vehicles are exposed to a gamut of weather conditions. Composites provide the strength, stiffness, and light weight needed for use in trucks, trailers, and any other vehicles where light weight and strength are desired.
Other markets
Thanks to technological advances and the experience of manufacturers like us, today, composites have the ideal properties to be the best solution to meet the requirements and performance criteria for many new industrial applications in markets such as wind power, civil engineering, marine, and construction.
